And the Emmy goes to…

Who is this collection of Emmy winners?  Why it’s Blind Squirrels – the production company that filmed Olivia and I for the upcoming “Tales for the Pet Lover’s Heart” TV special that will air in the Fall.

I just had to share this photo with you because it makes me happy. Funny because when I met these guys they were in tee shirts in jeans (and in fact now they all sport a Dog is Good tee or two – Addie just loves the “It’s All Fun and Games Until Someone Ends up in a Cone” tee)

If you haven’t yet seen our blog posts about these two whirlwind days of filming: check them out here (day 1, day 2) If you haven’t seen the Tales for the Pet Lover’s Heart facebook page, visit now, become a fan and get all the updates on the show’s progress, including when and on what channel it will air.

By the way, what’s your tale? Want to share it with America? Be sure to submit your pet tale before November at www.TalesForThePetLoversHeart.com. Purina and Kroger will make an additional $1 donation to an animal welfare organization for each story submitted and all stories will be considered for inclusion in next year’s TV special! Woof!

Bone-i-fied Holiday Goodness

I just had to share a little tidbit that brought a smile to my face today.

We recently released our two new Dog is Good boxed holiday cards and they were instantly met with a wildly positive response.  In the Company of Dogs will be carrying both designs (some of the first and only greeting cards they’ve ever considered – oooh!) and this is what Bark Magazine co-founder/publisher Cameron Woo had to say when he saw them today:

” …your cards are smart, handsome and full of attitude (the good kind)”  — Cameron Woo

If you haven’t seen them (and chances are you haven’t because they’re brand-spankin’ new) You can learn more about them, drool over them and buy them now at dogisgood.com

Yes, it is already time to be thinking about these things. Seriously it’s September. Can you believe that?
